HomeStreet has reduced its minimum credit score requirement for FHA loans to 600. The previous minimum score was 620. This is especially helpful for your first time homebuyers who are just establishing credit profiles or those folks who may have experienced some past credit difficulties but are on their way back up!
If you have a client who thinks they may have credit issues, don’t hesitate to send them my way. They very well may qualify now, and if they don’t I promise to counsel them and put them on a path to be able to buy a home soon!
All other standard Conventional and Conforming High Balance loan programs still have a minimum credit score of 620.
Current average interest rates for popular loan programs:

Conforming 30 Year Fixed: 4.25-4.50%
FHA/VA 30 Year Fixed: 3.75-4.125%
High Balance 30 Year Fixed: 4.375-4.625%
Conforming 5/1 ARM: 3.25-3.50%
