Ferndale is located on the Nooksack River, about six miles north of Bellingham and 13 miles south of the Canadian Border, in the northwest corner of Washington State. Ferndale’s small-city vibe can be felt in its neighborhoods, comprised of approximately 11,400 people (2010 U.S. Census).
